Willow Flycatcher
Willow Flycatchers are relatively scarce in the Bay Area during Spring;
this one was the first to be reported in Santa Clara County in 2007. It
showed the "no-eye-ring" look, and gave the "fitz-bew" song, making
the identification easy.

They are much more common in Fall migration; the one shown above and below posed
nicely for me in the back yard of a house overlooking the Russian River near Healdsburg.
