Tawny Antpitta, Grallaria quitensis
|
|
![]() Most antpittas are hard to see, but not this one; Ridgely and Greenfield, in their authoritative The Birds of Ecuador write "No other Ecuadorian antpitta ever emerges from forest depths the way this species so habitually does." This Tawny Antpitta came out to sing near the feeding station at the entrance to Yanacocha Reserve, a good spot for them. |
