Herring Gull, third-winter, above and below, just like the one in Sibley. I think the middle one, on the left, is also third-winter, or is it an adult? The tail is all white, an adult feature, but the white primary tips are smaller and the gonys less colored than the guides show for adults. | ||||||||||||||
