Franklin's Gull, Larus pipixcan
			Franklin's Gulls are "regular rarities" in the Bay Area; these two first-cycle birds showed up in the same spot in consecutive years. The 2007 one, top, showed up in July, still with lots of juvenal plumage; the 2006 one, the two pictures on the left, was at the end of September, and had gone through first-basic molt, all gray on top.
