Black-striped Sparrow, Arremonops conirostris
A male of this species was singing from this bush visible at eye-level from the third floor of Lookout Inn; it was joined by a second bird, presumably a female attracted to pair with it. I was told that this bird was an unusual sighting at this location on the Pacific side of the Osa Peninsular.
