The two pictures on top show a bird of the western subspecies, with brown/gray underparts; the three below show the eastern, with yellow/rufous underparts. The western bird, in March, has not quite completed molt to breeding plumage, note the incomplete rufous crown. The eastern bird is in full breeding plumage in May.
