![]() The bird above and the one at the bottom of the page were a pair nesting a few feet from the path that leads down to the reservoir at the end of Rose Canyon Road, in the Spring of 2010. (Actually, the pictures may show the same bird, though there was definitely a nesting pair present; Painted Redstart do not have distinct male and female plumages.) |
