Olive

![]() Olive Sparrows are ground-foraging birds that tend to stay in cover, and so are not easy to spot. In North America, they are found only in south Texas, where these birds were photographed; most of their population is in Mexico. They are the only species of their genus found in North America, but I have photographed another Arremonops sparrow in Costa Rica, the Black-striped Sparrow. |
