Great Thrush, Turdus fuscater

Great Thrush
One of the birds most commonly seen in forest borders, agricultural areas, and cities (including Quito) in the Andean temperate zone, altitude 8000-12,000 feet. A very large thrush, it shares the genus Turdus with the American Robin and the Eurasian Thrush, the latter of which it closely resembles in appearance.
