Cerulean Warbler, Setophaga cerulea

![]() The edge of Appalachia in southeastern Ohio is a good spot to see and photograph the dangerously declining Cerulean Warbler. I was there with bird-photography guru Matt Studebaker for the best time -- late April, when the male warblers are just arriving ahead of most females, and aggressively establishing their territories, and the trees have not yet leafed in enough to obscure the view of singing males. |
