Buff-breasted Flycatcher, Empidonax fulvifrons

Buff-breasted Flycatcher
This little guy was giving the distinctive two-phrase song
of his species, but I could only get this distant shot of
him. It was my first of the species, which is found in North
America only in Southeastern Arizona, so I'll display it
while hoping for a better one. Thanks to Dick Carlson, who
had staked out this bird and his female partner in Rose Canyon
on Mount Lemmon, and led me to them.
