![]() This is the brightest colored of the three species into which the former Solitary Vireo was split; compare the much duller Plumbeous and the intermediate Cassin's Vireo , the former of the southwest and mountains, the latter mostly further west. I took the photo above from the blind at Boy Scout Woods in High Island, Texas; the one below at Shawnee State Forest in southeastern Ohio. |
